As a Named Accounts Sales Executive (NASE) for Media & Entertainment, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by managing and developing relationships with key named accounts in the Media & Entertainment industry. Through management and coordination of an extended account team, you will work strategically with clients to understand their business needs and provide solutions that leverage Autodesk's industry-leading software and services.

The NASE is a team leader and strategic planner that focuses on our customer's needs by connecting to the value of Autodesk solutions. You will help our customers navigate the challenges associated with digital transformation, cloud-based architecture, artifical intelligence and other emerging technologies

This position is located in Los Angeles, CA (remote) or California (remote).

Responsibilities

Establish Unique Customer Value

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within assigned named accounts

  • Align Autodesk goals with Customer Business Initiatives (CBIs)

  • Translate customer challenges into value

  • Communicate at all levels internally and at the customer, including C-level

  • Position Autodesk as a trusted advisor

Account Team Leadership

  • Coordinate, influence and direct cross-functional account teams and opportunities development and customer satisfaction (customer success, technical, marketing, finance, legal, operations, product development)

  • Develop customer-specific enterprise level strategies

  • Maintain multi-year business and growth plans

  • Embed a continuous improvement mentality 

Sales Excellence 

  • Coordinate short term (tactical) and long term (strategic) initiatives leading to near and far-term product expansion and adoption within customer Enterprise Business Agreement (EBA) contracts

  • Meet and exceed annual and multi-year high-growth targets, including ACV and token-based consumption targets

  • Create and execute Account Business Plans, maintain opportunity pipelines, and provide accurate sales forecasts

  • Create value-focused proposals 

  • Ensure accurate sales funnel and SFDC forecasting

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years quota carrying software sales or customer success 

  • Proven track record of successful strategic accounts sales experience in the Media & Entertainment industry

  • Strong understanding of Autodesk's software and services, including but not limited to Maya, 3ds Max, Flow Production Tracking, Flow Capture

  • Platform sales experience

  • History of successfully navigating complex contract negotiations

  • Experience in selling Autodesk Architecture, Engineering and Construction, Design & Manufactuing (D&M) solutions an asset

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets

  • Experience working effectively in a team environment, collaborating with internal stakeholders

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $209,000 and $302,500. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
