We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Global Client General Manager to join the Ovation Travel Group Division of Amex GBT. For over 35 years, Ovation has provided seamless, cost-effective travel solutions to individual travelers and professional organizations in such industries as finance, Law, technology, biotech, advertising, entertainment, consulting, and other professional services firms.

Reporting to the Client Solutions Group & Operations leadership, the Global Client General Manager position is responsible for overall operations and strategic account management oversite including the performance and motivation of employees, quality of service delivery, contractual obligations, profitability of operation in accordance with budget, client retention, preferred vendor maximization, client reporting, technology implementation, and business development. This position will be dedicated to a large multinational investment bank.

This is a virtual, remote work from home opportunity; however, applicants must be available for occasional travel for client or company needs.

What You’ll Do

• Meets/exceeds customer expectations by managing customer service levels related to telephone, quality, and productivity and by providing value added solutions.
• Implements, or directs the completion of personnel recruiting, hiring, training, development, motivation, and separation.
• Meets/exceeds profit & loss targets; maximizes profitability while minimizing costs.
• Ensures proper human resources and company processes and policies are followed.
