Key Responsibilities 

  • Partner with the Solutions Client Executive to develop and grow assigned accounts proactively.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with external customers and vendor partners.
  • Drive client satisfaction by leading the Support team's efforts in driving growth in the day-to-day hardware and software business.
  • Drive execution of complex solution sales and internal Insight programs.
  • Drive margin expansion with high level knowledge of Partner deal registration and pricing programs.
  • Build relationships with the right solution-oriented hardware and software OEMs.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with clients, as well as internal personnel.
  • Assist Maintenance Renewal Associates in reconciling maintenance contracts.
  • Be accountable for sales execution and growth targets.
  • Some domestic travel may be required.

What you’ll need to succeed 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, or equivalent experience. MBA or master’s degree preferred.
  • 6-10 years of technology sales experience with a documented successful track record of performance and new account acquisition.
  • Experience working with Director and VP Level IT (Information Technology) and Procurement leaders.
  • Professional training and certifications in sales and partner management, complex sales training, effective marketing tactics, negotiation, and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of channel management and solution sales.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and other teammates.

 

The base salary range for this position is typically $50,000 - $60,000 with additional bonuses. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.

Internal teammate application guidelines:

  • Meet the minimum qualifications and requirements of the position;
  • Have completed minimum service time in current role based on department (ranges from 6 months to 2 years) and have current manager approval.
    • For Account Executives, must be in role for at least 2 years and be a Level 2
    • For Client Fulfillment Center, must be in role for at least 6 months
    • Unless noted above, must be in role for at least 12 months
  • Not be under a disciplinary evaluation or suspension period;
  • Have satisfactory performance in their current position;
  • Have their current manager/supervisor recommendation
