The Opportunity:
The Global Oncology Technical Sales Manager is a field based (remote) role reporting to the Oncology Sales Director. The key objective for the Global Oncology Technical Sales Manager is to generate sales for the Oncology product line. They will serve as the subject matter expert in coaching, training, and supporting the Regional Sales Managers, Distributors, Molecular Account Executives in exceeding the sales plan for the assigned product line.
What You'll Work on:
- Support and provide direction to Molecular Account Reps, Distributors, Managers, to increase Oncology product specific sales.
- Field Travel individually as well as with Molecular Account Reps.
- Serve as the liaison between field sales and Global/ US Marketing.
- Create and execute account specific strategies for all current customers and targeted customers.
- Exceed Global Oncology sales goals.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships at Senior levels.
- Improve satisfaction of Abbott customers.
- Drive local user groups, assist in problem solving and ensuring positive peer to peer best practices are shared.
- Develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) who can drive success, leverage these relationships for road shows, demo sites and speakers.
- Support Field Training as necessary.
- Maintain and grow Abbott Molecular lines of business to ensure that the divisional goals are achieved
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree is required (technical or business discipline preferred).
- BS in biological science degree or equivalent, or advanced molecular science degree would be a significant plus.
- Five to Eight years of proven sales success is preferred, in Molecular or Cytogenetics would be a significant plus.
- Management experience preferred.
- Excellent skills in technical expertise, planning and executing account specific strategies, consultative selling skills, territory management, negotiation, presentation, coaching, and communication are preferred.
- A valid US Drivers License is required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Must be able to travel (domestic and international) approximately 60%.

The base pay for this position is
$111,300.00 – $222,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
