As an Enterprise Account Manager at Engine, you will manage a portfolio of high-value clients with $500K - $1M in annual travel spend. You will focus on driving retention, growth, and customer success by acting as a trusted consultant, aligning client needs with Engine’s solutions. You will build and execute strategic business plans, foster strong relationships with C-suite executives, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure customers derive maximum value from our platform. A proactive, consultative mindset and deep ownership of your accounts will be key to your success.
Your Mission:
As part of the Engine team, you’ll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. Here’s what you’ll take charge of:
- Drive client retention and growth: Own a portfolio of enterprise accounts, proactively identifying opportunities to expand and increase retention.
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Sales to onboard new clients, and partner with business operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure customer success.
- Consult with clients: Act as a trusted advisor, matching client needs with Engine’s offerings to demonstrate value and drive long-term results.
- Lead quarterly business reviews: Use data-driven insights to deepen client relationships, track performance, and drive adoption.
- Generate new business within existing accounts: Seek new opportunities to exceed targets, leveraging consultative and solution-based sales strategies.
- Become a subject matter expert: Develop in-depth knowledge of Engine’s platform and the industry, helping clients leverage the full value of our offerings.
What You’ll Bring to Engine:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:
- 3+ years of experience in Account Management, with a proven track record of managing high-value client accounts.
- Strong experience managing larger deals and portfolios with $500K - $1M in annual spend.
- Ability to engage with C-suite executives and other senior decision-makers effectively, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven success as a top performer in your current or past roles, ideally with demonstrated growth and promotion within an Account Manager role.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes accounts simultaneously.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive self-starter who takes full ownership of their account book and strives to achieve the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to resonate with and embody Engine’s DNA, demonstrating a commitment to high standards, ownership, team collaboration, and customer obsession.
- Familiarity with the business travel or related industry is a plus, but not required.
Cash compensation:
- The base salary for this role is $90,000/year with an OTE potential of $130,000/year. Final compensation packages are determined by various factors, including prior experience and expertise.
