We’re looking for a talented teammate…

To join CLEAResult as a n Energy Efficiency Account Manager. The Energy Efficiency Account Manager is responsible for promoting energy efficiency programs and identifying opportunities within assigned commercial and industrial accounts, with a focus on small to medium-sized businesses. This role also includes leading outreach efforts for a direct-to-customer installation program in Sarnia, aimed at implementing natural gas reduction measures. From initial engagement to project completion, the Account Manager will ensure a high level of client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring existing regional connections or networks to support outreach and relationship-building efforts.


Please note: This is a proactive job post. We do not anticipate a need to fill until the end of May.

You’re a great match if you can…

  • Collaborate with customers, trade allies, and stakeholders to drive energy efficiency projects and applications.

  • Evaluate project feasibility, analyze energy savings opportunities, and review technical documentation for completeness and accuracy.

  • Perform data analysis to establish energy baselines and support incentive contracts.

  • Support the development and implementation of measurement and verification (M&V) plans.

  • Assess third-party studies to ensure technical viability of proposed energy and process improvements.

  • Prepare reports to track project progress and performance.

  • Maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts.

  • Improve technical processes and deliverables across program portfolios.

  • Determine measure eligibility and deliver technical training to internal and external audiences.

  • Contribute to internal evaluations and market-facing content to share best practices and drive program success.

 

Exciting candidates have…

  • 2–4 years of experience in account management or business development within the energy efficiency or sustainability sector.

  • Post-secondary education in Energy Efficiency, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Professional designations such as P.Eng, CEM, or CET are preferred.

  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems is a strong asset

  • Experience managing natural gas incentive programs is an advantage.

  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

  • Passionate about energy efficiency, particularly in applying technology-driven solutions.

  • Track record of delivering measurable energy savings and meeting or exceeding program targets.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Target Compensation:

$45-$50/hour

Compensation Range

$36.80 - $61.30
