About the Role
As the Director of Sales, you will lead our sales activities to achieve ambitious revenue and new client acquisition targets. A key aspect of your role will involve building a team of consultative account executives capable of thriving in a dynamic sales environment. We are looking for an experienced b2b sales leader with experience in the data domain, what was previously known as the modern data stack.
The right candidate will be hands on involved along with their teams in closing deals, building playbooks and scaling the team.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a founding team who wants to reimagine the future of data.

Qualifications
- Experience in the “modern data stack” and comfortable talking about the various different vendors in categories in the space. This is a non negotiable.
- 8+ years of closing experience selling SaaS with deal sizes in the $100k+ range
- A sense of urgency and customer obsession mindset.
- Experience selling in the international market (US/Europe). Middle East and Australia is a bonus.
- You are a “doer” with a high motor who has seen what great marketing looks like
- You have been described as creative, ability to “figure things out” and have no problem adjusting decks, helping with marketing collateral, assisting with events, etc.
- Strong writing, interpersonal, presentation, and organization skills required
- High business IQ – comfortable with business value assessments and ROI documents
- Ability to manage projects and contributors in diverse time zones.
- Effective collaboration and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilites
- Leading global sales efforts (currently focussed in the USA and APAC region)
- Building, managing, and developing a team of Sales reps to create a robust pipeline of new mid market clients globally
- Hands-on involvement in initiating, nurturing, and following through with leads from acquisition to closing via multiple channels and touchpoints.
- Collaborating with marketing on developing, implementing, and executing strategies for outbound lead generation and new sales.
- Collaborating with the leadership team in strategy, direction and roadmap
