Job Description
The Director, Global Learning will be part of the Global Talent Development Team and will have both the practical experience and depth of strategic expertise in learning solutions, specifically focused on a digital-first and scalable approaches to leadership and professional development. You will design, develop, scale and program manage critical areas of our talent development function including our global learning strategy, career pathways, mentoring, leadership development experiences, DEIB learning, and implementation of a new global LMS. Your role will be pivotal in building the foundation for a strong learning and the right candidate has a passion for building a strong global culture with a keen focus on developing talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Autonomously lead & drive the evolution and management of global, strategically focused, and integrated learning solutions, career development, leadership & professional development learning experiences.
Serve as our internal learning subject matter expert bringing best-in-class philosophies, tools, and vendor partners to content development and global offerings.
Partner cross-functionally with leaders and key stakeholders across the organization to help define needs and implement project plans that ensure high-quality execution and meaningful outcomes.
Develop and maintain effective internal communication strategies (marketing / communications plans for all stakeholders, etc.) to drive awareness and execution of programs globally.
Partner with the business on implementation of new global LMS.
Team Leadership:
Coach and lead the team by providing direction, key objectives and measurable performance goals.
Able to clearly and proactively communicate team performance against goals & objectives.
Prepares and manages team budget.
Effectively communicates project status to P&C and business leaders.
Preferred candidates will be in Eastern Standard Time zone (EST).
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
10+ years experience developing, deploying, and driving talent and engagement processes that scale in global organizations
3+ years in progressive leadership roles
Preferred Requirements:
Proven ability to analyze the business needs of a global organization and work autonomously to create talent strategies to effectively address those needs.
Experience in blended learning approaches with emphasis on digital-first learning.
Able to co-create and implement impactful solutions with the business, practicing core activities in design thinking – prototyping, experimenting, gathering …
