About the role
Semgrep is leveraging its early success with its Channel ecosystem and strategically investing to scale partner-sourced and partner-closed business. We're seeking a true "builder" to join our Partnerships team, someone with proven experience collaborating with internal stakeholders to integrate Semgrep into strategic joint go-to-market activations. This role involves building and executing sales strategies with partners and evolving partnerships from ad-hoc to consistent revenue contributors. Youâll be reporting directly to the VP of WW Sales
We are looking for a Regional Channel Manager who can build from the ground up and execute in the field partner reps. You bring hustle, grit, and creativity to solving problems and scaling solutions. You will play a crucial role in building a key growth engine for the company to continue scaling rapidly. Location expectations:
- Our expectation is that this role will be fully remote, however, there is the expectation that you will visit partner reps in the field and at partner offices. West Coast proximity is preferredÂ
Prior experience in a fast-paced, tech environment in the security or DevOps space is greatly appreciated, and you have relationships with cybersecurity value-added resellers, then this is the role for you.
What youâll do
- Expand Semgrepâs business opportunities with current VAR/Reseller partners
- Identify and develop new VAR/Reseller partnerships for Semgrep.
- Increase deal registrations and partner influenced deals
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess progress, identify challenges, and implement action plans.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging cybersecurity threats to position our solutions effectively.
- Work closely with the direct sales team to coordinate partner-led opportunities and ensure seamless deal execution.
