Job Summary
Our Health Solutions team is Seeking a Business Development professional to join our team. The ideal location for this person would be Central or Eastern US. In this role, You will work cross functionally to qualify new customers and generating new business, developing business with them, achieving pipeline and bookings results according to assigned targets.
What a typical day looks like:
- Account planning, proactive proposals, relationships development, quoting intelligence and proposals development, customer meetings.
- Utilizes customer market intelligence to develop sales and account penetration.
- Learn and utilize Flex’s standard sales systems, tools and techniques
- Recognize the breadth and depth of Flex capabilities to develop proactive solutions or answer to proposal which differentiates Flex and enables the customer to address key issues and/or drive top line growth.
- Identify and engage with potential new logos to drive business growth
- Create and drive personal pipeline in line with overall business unit strategy.
- Knows the customer’s organization, products, market position, and goals, sourcing strategy, suppliers, manufacturing locations, future plans, competition and overall business strategy.
- Owns and drives the execution, or work with owner of the account strategy to identify and close manufacturing, design and services business.
- Pipeline development, management, contract negotiation and approval process with a clear understanding of the quotation and business case.
- Generate new business and act as focal point in presenting, selling and delivering Flex’s solutions which include concept development, design and engineering, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, services hold up and reverse logistics.
The experience we are looking to add to our team:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training plus a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Sales experience in the Electronic Manufacturing/Contract Manufacturing, Knowledge of Strategic Selling techniques
- Understanding of key financial metrics and capability to read P&L, balance sheets, ROI indicators, taking actions to meet customers’ needs and internal targets.
- Sales experience within Medical Equipment Manufacturing services.
- Ability to travel up to 35-40% of the time
