We are seeking a Business Development Representative who can execute the responsibilities of the position in a manner that is consistent with our ICOMPEL values


DESCRIPTION SUMMARYThe Business Development Rep (BDR) will join Formulated Materials LLC, a division of Compellier out of Oklahoma City, OK - a building materials supplier and provider of innovative systems designed to elevate and advance the construction industry.The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for identifying new prospects and securing product demonstrations through a dedicated, strategic, and focused outbound pursuit. The BDR will work closely as an apprentice to the Sales Executive and keep the sales funnel full of qualified prospects. BDR must be a high-energy, confident, and motivated sales professional with excellent communication and social skills. BDR should be a self-start willing to call on contractors and architects both at the office and at the project level. All engagement with prospects and customers will be documented clearly in CRM, and all future tasks and assignments will be logged in CRM as well.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Immerse yourself in our business and proactively seek out news and insights; become subject matter expert
  • Daily strategic effort to build pipeline with outbound cold calling, emailing, and using various tools we provide to support (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, ConstructConnect)
  • Minimum 30 outbound cold calls per day
  • Minimum 10 outbound emails per day
  • Schedule, prepare & execute detailed, meaningful presentations and product demonstrations
  • Build and deliver proposals, negotiate, and close new business
  • Collaborate across different channels within the business
  • Performs other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Ability to travel to job sites, attend meetings and functions outside of typical business hours

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience closing sales and achieving overall sales goals thru development and winning new business practices
  • Associates Degree in any field and 1 year of relevant sales experience
OR
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 3 years of relevant sales experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Overnight travel may be required
  • Work-from-home capability required; approximately 25% travel
  • Office environment
  • Long periods of sitting and using a computer
SALARY RANGEThe salary range is $50,000 - $60,000 depending on experience. Commission is also available for this position and can range up to $30,000.
