Business Development Manager - South of England

As the UK’s largest choice of properties for sale and to rent, our aim is to give everyone the belief they can make their move. To help us achieve this, we’re looking for an Account Manager to join our team.


Location: Field Based - South of England

Reporting to: Area Director

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + £15,000 OT & company car


The role


To contribute to the overall delivery of the New Homes team commercial targets by prospecting new accounts to achieve individual revenue goals and activity targets. Source, convert and onboard new business opportunities, before working closely with the Account Management Team to transition them across following their minimum contract term.


What you’ll be doing


  • Prospect and secure new customers, achieving sales targets.
  • Build strong industry relationships and ensure customer understanding of Rightmove products.
  • Manage customer billing, administration, and support with internal teams.
  • Analyse data in review meetings to help customers understand their market.
  • Resolve customer queries, manage external relationships, and embody Rightmove values.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy, and manage a mix of field and virtual customer meetings with effective travel planning.
  • Engage in self-development and ongoing training while actively collaborating with your team and manager.


What you’ll bring to the role


  • Experienced in business development, prospecting, and growing a new customer base.
  • Uses a consultative sales approach for long-term growth by addressing customer needs.
  • Tenacious, self-motivated, and driven to improve performance through collaboration.
  • Skilled in building strong relationships with decision-makers and excited to accelerate growth.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident with data analysis.
  • Team player who thrives on coaching, dynamic teamwork, and exceeding targets.
  • Drives for results to achieve commercial goals and has the ability to create solutions and share success amongst colleagues
