Business Development Executive - Credit Unions

This Business Development Executive position is responsible for market expansion and penetration in the credit union markets through new business and new logos, entry into new credit unions, and new capability pursuits in existing domains.

What you will do

  • Identify and secure new customers/partner sales in the Credit Union industry

  • Land and grow new customer/partner revenue across the Equifax solution portfolio

  • Develop contact network within new customers/partners and facilitates connection to relevant Equifax counterparts

  • Lay early foundation for long-term customer/partner Relationships

  • Identify, develop, manage, and close opportunities spanning all Equifax solutions with prospect credit unions.

  • Complete appropriate research on the prospective credit union’s business imperatives and Risk, Fraud, and Marketing strategies

  • Define and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth while delivering meaningful customer value

  • Network to build relationships with economic buyers, decision makers, and influencers in target customers and within the credit union industry

  • Leverage account, solution, and delivery team resources effectively and at appropriate times to advance opportunities

  • Lead account strategy motions with cross-functional team to identify sales opportunities tied to Equifax value-add

  • Respond to prospect RFI and RFPs

  • Drive strong pipeline development and sales execution


What experience you need

  • 7-10+ years of experience in net new logo sales or business development

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience

  • Experience selling similar solutions (risk, data, credit) into Credit Unions / Financial Institutions, strongly preferred

  • Ability to travel approximately 40%-50%

​Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $109,200.00 to $135,000.00. This position is also eligible for our incentive compensation program.
