Our Finance team acts as a trusted advisor and consultant to business management on strategies and operational decisions providing financial perspectives into overall strategic and tactical decision making. We use state-of-the-art techniques for financial analysis, planning, accounting, reporting and performance evaluation. This allows the organization to continue advancing medical innovation and improve lives.

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Leader to be a trusted partner to the business, lead and support the execution of the Restructuring arm of Fortify our Future and other cost optimization initiatives. You will provide information, analysis and recommendations to improve results and guide decisions. This role will establish appropriate processes, ensure financial control, monitor and drive performance and project execution. In addition, you will be a partner to the business, lead and support key categories within our Company Animal Health Procurement in many aspects of supplier relationships such as: Vendor selection, contract negotiation & review, supplier risk assessments, savings calculations, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting as well as financial decisions in support of the overall our Company Animal Health objectives. The position will report to the Finance Director, AH Global Supplier Management.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implement and oversee financial reporting and controls associated with our Company Animal Health Procurement

  • Manage various aspects of AH-GSM relationship through collaboration with finance, procurement, and operations stakeholders

  • Analyze contract award proposals for spend confirming cost savings and assessing other terms and conditions

  • Provide business case support for supply decisions based on cost optimization

  • Lead the preparation, submission, and presentation of restructuring financial forecasts for both spend and savings realization to senior leadership

  • Review and report monthly actuals for restructuring spend & savings and support routine accounting actions
