Partners with sales colleagues in the development and closing of sales opportunities. Serves as technical subject matter expert and consults the sales team and client on DN product and service offerings. Assists in the sales cycle from discovery to close. Designs customer solutions that achieve business and financial goals as well as meet or exceed client business and functional requirements. Documents detailed client requirements and initiates any required scoping efforts or planning with internal partners to ensure successful solution delivery. Evaluates product performance, market needs and client satisfaction, providing feedback to product teams to ensure continuous improvement and enhancement of the company's product and services portfolio. Conducts live and remote demonstrations and makes presentations to prospective customers clearly articulating the value proposition.

  • Responsible for providing Subject Matter Expertise to customer accounts in North America
  • Provide SME support to other area (Latin America, Brazil) on an as-needed basis
  • Maintains a vast knowledge of the industry and competitors in the software landscape.
  • Acts as a valuable resource to customers and the Sales team in your area of responsibility.
  • Provide industry and domain expertise to clients 
  • Works with peers and customers to perform implementation reviews and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical or procedural challenges.
  • Advises customers on Software product integration and transition, integration with other DN and competitor products.
  • Assist in sales enablement training, as well as roadshow and customer workshops in the Customer Experience Centers (or virtually)
  • Owns and responds to functional and technical elements of complex RFIs/RFPs in collaboration with Sales executives
  • Input and review the future product requirements and needs (voice of the customers)
  • Execute product strategy and portfolio roadmap development towards sales and customers (internally and externally)
  • Enables the go-to-market and customer facing portion of new product introduction (product pilot to release process)
  • Engages with all levels inside customers' organization to understand objectives, business priorities and how DN's Terminal Software solutions can help facilitate their success.
  • Engages in the sales process in strategic discussions on roadmap, solutions and thought leadership/strategy with prospects. (CTO level, Tech. or Business)
  • Handles issues escalated from Sales colleagues or customers, resolving on own or seeking advice / support from other teams and ensure follow up to resolution
  • Supports Sales by providing solution design, implementation and support for current and new customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's diploma or equivalent work experience required, 
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Pre-Sales Software.
  • Has Subject Matter Expertise in Software Enterprise Solutions supporting sales teams and customers
  • Creativity needed to anticipate market trends and needs and identify new solutions to satisfy those needs 
  • A proven track record for meeting and exceeding performance objectives 
  • Must be assertive, influential and able to motivate all levels of associates, peers and leadership
  • Mature knowledge about state-of-the-art software trends and technologies 
  • Position will require up to 50% travel within North America – Visit customers sites and Experience Center NC Ohio
  • Other duties as assigned or required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess a high level of oral and written communication, presentation, critical thinking and strategic planning skills 
  • Must be adept at team building and collaborating 
  • Excellent conceptual and technical understanding of their domain of expertise 
  • Strong competence in customer facing environment and the ability to communicate to executives on specific practice from a business perspective
  • Ability to identify, structure and articulate solutions both tactically (situational basis) and strategically; with the ability to recognize patterns of needs
  • Preferably deep knowledge about retail banking industry and related typical business processes 
  • Experience with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills 
  • Capabilities to work in virtual and international teams  

Salary Range: $95,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including your qualifications, skills, competencies, geographic location, internal equity, and relevant experience. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the plan and/or program, whereby an award, if any, may depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
