Account Manager - Remote - Southern California/Los Angeles

What you will accomplish together with us:
- Partner with medium to large sized customers to identify new business opportunities aligned with the organization's overall market and growth strategy.
- Assess and analyze customer needs, respond to customer inquiries, and suggest products and services as appropriate.
- Actively drive existing and newly launched innovative products and services into the assigned accounts and proactively follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity at key accounts.
- Work closely with cross functional team to implement global account strategies to gain market share and new business from the assigned key accounts.
- Champion continuous improvement, consulting, and challenging customers with respect to Total Cost of Ownership, and in accordance with the defined strategy for the assigned key accounts.
- Periodically report on the progress of the business to line management and internal stakeholders, using reporting tools as provided and recommended by the organization.
What will convince us:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in biotechnology or related field. Or Associate’s degree with 7 years of relevant sales experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience preferably within life sciences. Or 3+ years related work experience in the bioprocess industry and/or cGMP environment.
- Relevant knowledge in bioprocessing (fermentation, filtration, purification technologies expertise and/or final filling applications) a plus.
- Experience with mAb, recombinant proteins and gene therapy processes preferred.
- 50% - 70%, including up to 25% overnight travel within the Southern California/Los Angeles territory.

Compensation for this position will be a base salary between $105,000.00 and $155,000.00 depending upon experience and qualifications. Commissions for this position generally range up to 30% of a candidate’s base salary.
