Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships and expanding the Kyriba footprint for existing customers in the Higher Education and Non-Profit space.
  • Perform account planning, determine portfolio strategy, as well as proper segmentation to enable focus efforts and activities.
  • Drive strategic net new, expansion, and renewal business of Kyriba solutions within enterprise/SMB accounts.
  • Coordinate with all supporting teams at Kyriba, including pre-sales, value engineering, PS, partners, support, product, and more.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the account team (CSMs, SAMs, Management) to determine and execute on account plans.
  • Execute on sales/bookings goals on a quarterly basis, and demonstrate strategic planning of your territory.
  • Ensure protection of current revenue through proper renewal management and execution.
  • Effectively differentiate KYRIBA offerings from competitive alternatives and create customer preference for these offerings.
  • Manage and deliver quarterly revenues with accurate forecasting of the pipeline and full transparency through the status of opportunities.
  • Build Pipeline, including both large, strategic opportunities as well as transactional expansions.
  • Create and deliver quality presentations and proposals for customer consumption.
  • Manage internal escalations as required, ensuring accountability from other supporting teams within Kyriba.
  • Manage the overall customer relationship, ensuring appropriate support at the operational, transactional, and strategic level.
  • Communicate with management appropriately to ensure forecasts are accurate and potential risks mitigated.
  • Ongoing learning of market and industry supported (treasury, payments, cash management, risk management, working capital).

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • At least 3 years proven experience in SaaS selling, preferably to IT or Finance.
  • Experience selling to and working with  Higher Education and Non-Profit businesses.
  • Strong track record of sales quota achievement and pipeline generation.
  • Business development skills as well as a strong understanding of how software deals are transacted.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with Clients based on reliance & expertise.
  • A charismatic team player, with the proven ability to be part of a high-performance organization.
  • Experience in selling SaaS solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS/Google tools: Word, PPT, XLS.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and forecasting in a tool such as Salesforce.
  • Comfortable managing through conflict and escalation.
  • Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record managing multiple priorities at a time.
  • Ability to thrive in a changing environment of a growing team and organization.
  • Excellent communication skills - oral and written.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams internally.
  • Ability to travel, up to 30% to be onsite with clients or at events.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Business Management, or equivalent preferred.
  • Background working in Treasury, Finance, or Payment is preferred.

Base compensation for this role is: $69,900.00 - $114,975.00 annual salary. In addition to the base pay this position includes a variable compensation. The role might also be potentially eligible to long term Incentive. The final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including candidate profile and ideal qualifications as well as specific cost of living circumstances in some specific locations.
