Account Manager

Location: Remote (US). Approximately 50% travel required.

The Account Manager will be responsible for growing and retaining H.B. Fuller's market share within key segments while achieving profit and sales targets. This position covers the United States and requires a highly motivated individual with a "hunter" mentality. The Account Manager will be instrumental in driving growth through new business opportunities while leveraging existing product ranges and innovative solutions in the Tapes & Label market.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Grow and retain market share and customer base in key segments while achieving profit and sales targets.
  • Communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Provide technical competence and independently manage demonstrations and technical problem-solving.
  • Focus on identifying larger opportunities and optimizing price and profitability.
  • Mentor and train entry/new sales roles.
  • Drive customer intimacy by delivering tailored value propositions.
  • Promote and expertly sell value, differentiating H.B. Fuller in the market.
  • Apply H.B. Fuller's sales process and tools, including Salesforce.com.
  • Implement business pricing strategy and manage negotiations to capture optimal margins.
  • Travel within the U.S. approximately 50%.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred in a technical/mechanical, business, or chemistry focus.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • ​Experience in tape and label outside sales, or adhesives.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to frequently travel, estimated travel 50% within U.S.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Education: 4-year college degree in a related field, preferably with a technical/mechanical, business, or chemistry background.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $84,000 - $100,000. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a Sales Incentive Plan.
