What You Will Do
This seller will support both new and existing business, identifying opportunities to gain new customers and increase revenue through our ePayments solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working within accounting operations, and understands the daily duties and challenges of both the back office accounting department as well as the experience of the Controller, CFO and A/P Specialist. Success in this position requires business development and software sales skills, industry insight, being able to prepare and present value-driven software presentations, handle contract negotiations, and closing business.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategic prospecting and business development planning to targeted accounts.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, results, pipeline and forecast management.
- Partner with sellers to facilitate the sales process for new business opportunities.
- Work closely with Product Development and Marketing to develop a highly targeted account strategy that reflects an understanding of customers’ current processes/workflows and how that translates into the software’s value proposition.
- Build partnerships with key roles within each customer organization
- Develop strategic plans for assigned opportunities.
- Prepare clear, concise, and professional proposals to prospective and existing customers.
- Provide market feedback and accurate forecasting to the management team to optimize the strategy and positioning of offerings.
- Deliver product demonstrations, both web-based and on-site.
- Assist in closing/negotiating contract sales.
- Attend trade shows and industry conventions.
- Ability to quickly develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of software products and remain current on product knowledge.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience within the Accounting or Finance industry.
- Experience using Accounting ERP software, exposure to Viewpoint products a plus.
- Core understanding and working knowledge of accounting processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sales experience. Self-starter, high-energy, assertive, results-oriented.
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Experience working with and presenting to high-level executives
- Basic knowledge of computers and experience working within Google Drive.
- Experience working with a CRM, Salesforce a plus.
- Uses time effectively and efficiently. Values time, concentrating efforts on high priorities items first. Can prioritize and attend to a broad range of activities.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality, presents numerical data effectively, and is able to read and interpret written information.
- Consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
Salary 140k OTE
