Compensation:               $205,000.00 - $275,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

ABOUT THE JOB

OneStream is looking for a Vice President of Pricing & Packaging to join our leadership team. The VP of Pricing & Packaging will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness for our products. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep and proven expertise in pricing models, market analysis, and revenue management. The VP of Pricing & Packaging will work closely with global cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Finance to align pricing strategies with business objectives.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Pricing Leadership:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies to achieve business goals.
    • Lead the creation and refinement of pricing models for new and existing products.
    • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive pricing, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions.
    • Optimize pricing for different (global) customer segments and (global) markets.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis on a global scale to stay ahead of industry trends.
    • Evaluate the impact of pricing strategies on market share and competitive positioning.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Leverage data analytics and pricing tools to inform pricing decisions and strategies.
    • Develop and maintain pricing dashboards and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Product Management to understand product value propositions and feature sets.
    • Partner with Finance/Sales Ops to ensure pricing strategies align with financial goals and forecasts.
    • Coordinate with Sales to understand customer needs and feedback on pricing.

 

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or a related field, with a significant portion in a SaaS environment.
