In summary, there is no place like Insurity to leverage the latest technology to tackle the most complex problems in one of the largest industries globally.  Insurity’s Next Vice President, New Business Sales The Vice President of New Business Sales will be a dynamic, results-driven leader with a proven track record in building and scaling high-performance sales teams. This exciting role is at the forefront of driving growth by acquiring new business and expanding our market reach. You'll be instrumental in crafting strategic prospecting techniques, forging strong relationships, and making impactful deals that propel our company forward. The ideal candidate will be an expert in generating and converting new leads, possessing an entrepreneurial spirit and expertise in developing and executing sales strategies to drive significant revenue growth.  The New Business Sales Vice President’s primary responsibility is identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities. This involves collaborating with colleagues to create and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction. What our Vice President of New Business Sales will do
  • In this role, you will be responsible for leading, executing sales, and developing the team's strategy.  Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with company objectives across multiple markets (e.g., B2B, enterprise, SMB, etc.).
  • Market Penetration: Identify and target new business opportunities in cross-functional markets, including verticals and geographic regions.
  • Revenue Growth: Set ambitious sales targets and develop a tactical plan to exceed goals through new customer acquisition.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals, maintaining high motivation, and creating a culture of accountability and success.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with sales operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment in messaging, customer acquisition, and satisfaction.
  • Client Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term relationships with economic buyers, decision-makers, and strategic partners.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use CRM tools and sales analytics to evaluate team performance, improve sales processes, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee developing and managing a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent lead generation and timely closure of high-value deals.
  • Sales Forecasting: Deliver consistent sales projections maintaining transparency about progress made towards targets.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to remain ahead of industry developments and adapt the sales strategy accordingly
Who We Are Looking For 
  • The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of property and casualty insurance industry  
  • Experience with insurance software products services, capabilities, customers, and current markets 
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role while managing multiple team members across complex product portfolio 
  • 15+ years of experience in customer-facing roles 
  • Open-minded and adept at seeing the bigger picture, and thrives on exploring new ideas and possibilities  
  • Excellent communicator with strong negotiation, presentation, and persuasion skills skills  
  • Exceptionally proficient in coaching and development teams 
  • Travel: 50% - 75%
