Value Consultant - Marketing Program Effectiveness

- Serve as ON24’s SME for marketing program effectiveness supporting Sales and Customer Success in new business sales, customer expansion, and renewals.
- Engage with large, global enterprises on ways to improve their go-to-market effectiveness using ON24 by conducting assessments, producing findings and recommendations documents, and delivering those findings and recommendations alongside the ON24 sales and customer success account teams.
- Ownership of the process and assets used in program effectiveness portion of the ON24 sales process. You will continuously improve the process and assets utilized for your engagement with new and existing ON24 customers. Team-up effectively across the organization, pulling in resources as needed, to ensure that we are positioning and delivering a value-based sales approach.
- Coordinate, manage, and execute Proof of Concepts, virtually & on-site, with sales prospects.
- Become certified on all product offerings and serve as the ON24 SME to help deliver differentiated value propositions and solutions to prospects and clients.
- Partner with Sales organization and be the point of contact for training and enablement.
- Actively participate in sales strategy and positioning meetings and trainings.
- Participate in regular roadmap reviews with clients, prospects, and fellow team members.
- Share knowledge in terms of prospect requirements, competitive insights, and product feedback with internal teams and product managers for roadmap consideration.
- Provide marketing expertise to sales, account managers and customer support as needed to help up-sell/cross-sell new products and services to existing clients as well as helping with retention activities.
- Marketing Experience: 7-10 years of direct experience as a B2B marketing practitioner in roles such as demand generation, program strategy or digital marketing OR experience as a third-party consultant (agency preferred) responsible for delivering go-to-market and program strategy engagements.
- Marketing expertise: Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles, digital marketing channels and tactics- including segmentation, personalization, targeting, positioning, branding, and digital marketing strategies including but broader than webinar marketing.
- Industry expertise: industry marketing expertise in Information Technology (required), Financial Services (preferred), Life Sciences (preferred).
- Consultative skills: Highly proficient at running structured assessments and workshops with a customer audience at large enterprises. Ability to create findings and recommendations documents that are clear, concise, and actionable.
- Presentation skills: Ability to lead individual and group discussions and to make various types of presentations with clarity and confidence.
- High-level proficiency: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, data analytics tools, and web technologies.
- Collaborative: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially sales
- Analytical skills: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Problem-solving skills: Identifying challenges, developing creative solutions, and adapting to changing client needs.

The base pay range for this position is $125,000 to $175,000. This range is not a guarantee of actual compensation that may be earned nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on relevant experience, education, skills, location, and other applicable factors.
