As a UX Content Manager, you will be the strategic leader and primary authority for content strategy within our UX team. You will balance hands-on content design with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that your team delivers user-centered, inclusive, and high-impact content experiences. Your expertise will shape the way we communicate complex ideas through language, structure, and storytelling, while maintaining alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. Your proven track record in content strategy, coupled with strong leadership and communication skills, will make you a key influencer across our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of UX content strategists, providing guidance, feedback, and professional growth opportunities.
Oversee performance reviews, hiring, and career development to cultivate a high-performing team.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion, and high-quality content design.
Team & Project Management
Allocate UX content strategists based on business priorities and user impact.
Manage project planning, staffing, and execution to ensure timely and high-quality content delivery.
Collaboration & Communication
Partner with Design System Team to establish content writing guidelines, ensuring a unified approach across visual and content elements.
Work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and go-to-market teams to integrate content strategy into the product development lifecycle.
Advocate for content design and communicate its ROI to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Strategic Leadership Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Content Strategy
Define and implement a unified content strategy that prioritizes clarity, consistency, and user engagement across all product touchpoints.
Establish an operating and engagement model to guide the team’s priorities and areas of focus.
Content Standards & Quality
Develop measurable content standards to ensure accessibility, localization efficiency, and terminology consistency.
Data-Driven UX Content
Monitor content performance through analytics and user feedback, iterating to optimize content experiences.
Ensure all content aligns with company guidelines, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
5+ years in user experience design or content strategy, with at least 1–2 years in a managerial or team lead role.
A robust portfolio showcasing strategic thinking and user-centered content design.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma), collaborative platforms (e.g., Miro, FigJam), and content management systems (e.g., Contentful, WordPress).
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage and inspire a creative team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate content standards and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Skilled in workshop facilitation, fostering alignment across teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred:
Experience designing enterprise-level applications, services, or platforms, particularly in customer support or call centers.
Familiarity with user research and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, ContentSquare, Maze) to measure content impact and guide strategic decisions.
Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$139,600.00 - $259,200.00Benefits:
