Talent Acquisition Consultant( Contractor)

  • This is a 3-month contracting assignment with the ability to be extended. 

The Talent Acquisition Consultant (contract) will collaborate closely with our Talent Acquisition team to strategically partner with the business and build strong relationships with hiring leaders. They will provide guidance on all aspects of talent acquisition, with a primary focus on sourcing and screening. This role will be responsible for identifying and recruiting talent across multiple business groups in the US (and possibly Canada).  

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?  

  • Partner with other TA Consultants and hiring leaders to understand and define hiring needs and develop enticing job postings that reflect our culture and attract top talent. 

  • Develop a clear understanding of talent needs for specific positions, considering scope, skill requirements, labor market trends, and salary. Guide hiring managers in prioritizing position requirements and recruitment strategies based on business needs. 

  • Source and screen high-quality candidates, demonstrating expertise in talent attraction and sourcing.  

  • Identify opportunities to enhance stakeholder outcomes through recommending new recruiting approaches or strategies.  

  • Utilize recruiting tools, social media, job sites, community outreach, and professional organizations to proactively build diverse talent pipelines.  

  • Build positive relationships, establish credibility and trust by delivering results, meeting deadlines, and following through with commitments.  

  • Communicate in an effective, timely manner with all applicants and be an advocate for candidate experience. 

  • Ensure accuracy of recruitment data and track key recruiting metrics.  

  • Leverage recruiting expertise to establish reasonable timeframes and expectations for specialized or critical roles.  

  • Coach and influence hiring managers to implement effective strategies and adopt best practices. 

  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.  

What are the requirements needed for this position?  

  • A minimum of 3 years of full life cycle recruitment, Applicant Tracking System experience (Workday preferred) and conducting competency/behavioral-based interviews experience.

  • Strong sourcing and screening experience, specifically with entry level and mid level Manufacturing and/or Lite Industrial roles.

  • A minimum of 2 years of developing and executing sourcing strategies with a proven record of connecting with diverse talent, building, and managing talent pipelines, and successfully matching talent with roles. 

  • Proven experience in driving initiatives and ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures. 

  • High School diploma required. 

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?  

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Pay Range:

$63,400.00 - $105,800.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
