Reporting to Head of Fleet Sales Contract Hire and Leasing, the role of Tactical Deal Development Manager is to build working relationships with the Approved Broker Network, OEMs and Lease co Partners. Working on tactical supply opportunities you will lead discussions with OEM’s / Funders and Group 1 Divisional team to secure contracts.

What You’ll Do Day to Day:
- Create Live campaigns for Group 1 that provide Finance and VRB income.
- Seek tactical supply opportunities and lead discussions with OEM’s / Funders and Group 1 Divisional team to create live campaigns
- Monitor stock levels of CTP and take appropriate action
- Oversee the service levels for all Funder and Broker Stock management portals
- Oversee the SLA requirements for all OEM, Lease co and Broker Partners
- Lead all marking and matrix pricing accuracy
- Oversee that all Group 1 finance agreements are set live with the funders soon after delivery
- Identify, develop, and provide clear operational direction on Group 1’s ambition to become the ‘go-to’ fleet retailer for existing and new customers irrespective of sales channel to drive incremental sales volume, an un-fair share of opportunities and to deliver sustainable profitability.
- Ensure regular visits are set up with customers at any location across the UK as required – developing key relationships through regular face to face reviews and through specific agreed hospitality events
- Mitigate the organisation from any fleet related risk, understanding, anticipating and reacting as appropriate to change or headwinds in which the business and fleet strategy may need to adjust
- Perform adequate due diligence on all new and existing suppliers to ensure that any risk, financial or reputational, is understood and managed appropriately.

- Previous experience within a sales or target-driven role
- Experience of delivering first-class customer service in a customer-facing environment
- Natural rapport-building ability and skill in understanding consumer signals
- Excellent communication skills
- Drive to exceed targets
- Influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and close sales
- Full UK driving licence
