Strategic Value Consultant

As a Pre-Sales Strategic Value Consultant at Airtable, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our strategic customer base by providing insights and value assessments during the sales process. You will work closely with prospective clients, sales teams, and other stakeholders to understand business needs, demonstrate Airtable’s value, and craft tailored solutions that address specific challenges and opportunities.
What You’ll Do:
Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, understanding their business goals, pain points, and strategic initiatives. Translate these insights into actionable recommendations for leveraging Airtable’s platform.
Value Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and demonstrate how Airtable’s features and functionalities align with their strategic objectives. Quantify and articulate the potential ROI and benefits of adopting Airtable across the enterprise.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and customer success to ensure alignment and address any technical or implementation concerns.
Market Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies. Use this knowledge to position Airtable effectively and identify opportunities for differentiation.
Feedback Loop: Provide insights and feedback from client interactions to the product and marketing teams to help refine Airtable’s offerings and messaging.
Who You Are:
Experience: 7+ years of experience in building a business value program as well as positioning business cases and customer value in a presales consulting, strategic value selling, or a related role, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of cloud-based platforms, databases, and workflows. Experience with Airtable or similar low code / No Code platforms is a plus.
Consultative Skills: Demonstrated ability to engage with clients at various organizational levels, including executives, to uncover business needs and articulate value.
Presentation Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and quantify the impact of technology solutions on business outcomes.
Team Player: Collaborative and able to work effectively within a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
