Summary of Position

The Strategic Partnership Associate will support the growth of income by maintaining and expanding Teladoc’s existing commercial partnerships. They will assist with day-to-day account management, serving as a key contact between Teladoc Health and a select group of partners, including benefit consultants, brokers, and healthcare engagement/wellbeing organizations. Through the Teladoc Health platform, the associate will contribute to helping clients reduce costs and improve outcomes for plan-sponsored members. Additionally, they will provide support to the Partnership Directors and Vice President in their efforts to strengthen relationships and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. They should be proactive, able to manage tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and be comfortable working remotely from anywhere in the United States. This role requires travel of approximately 30%.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day operational support for the strategic partnership team.
  • Establish/identify partner priorities to develop business strategies along with a strategic plan
  • Develop an operating calendar, detailed partner plan/forecast, and account planning/ mapping process for each of your parter accounts.
  • Works closely with marketing to develop sales tools and collateral specific for our employee benefits consultants and national broker partners and their needs
  • Aggregates all reporting and makes recommendations based on fact-based analysis
  • Assists with salesforce: day-to-day administration and sales campaigns
  • Synthesizes and provides competitive intel received through our channel partners
  • Anticipates client needs, investigates the underlying causes, and identifies short- and long-term solutions
  • Anticipates internal/external business issues and developments in own discipline; uses knowledge to focus work and drive improvements
  • Demonstrate a broad comprehension of the customer's needs, market trends, and industry challenges. Major players (payers and providers), relevant products and technologies

                                                          

Qualifications Expected for Position

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA)
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in benefits consulting, marketing, and/or channel operations
  • Demonstrated written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience negotiating contracts within acceptable company parameters
  • Experience collaborating with customers and colleagues both internal and external
  • Project management experience

The base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2024. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
