Your impactHandshake is hiring a Strategic Customer Success Manager to join our Employer Success Team. You will be responsible for owning, retaining, and growing a book of Strategic Accounts (F100 and larger). You will own driving adoption and results, strategic value realization, change management, and innovation to help Handshake hit growth and attainment targets.
As a Strategic Customer Success Manager, your primary goal will be to establish and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders, align on employers’ business objectives and set-up key workflows and processes based on the unique needs of the employer.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of quickly building relationships and trust, effortlessly pivoting from strategic to tactical, and being a project management powerhouse.
Your role- Adoption: Driving adoption and deep product usage across complex organizations and with multiple users and stakeholders. Leading onboarding and implementations of Handshake for accounts from start to finish and developing workflows and programs to achieve early talent goals. (12-15 accounts)
- Value: Align on success metrics and drive value based on attribution to large customers. Understanding what makes a customer successful against their goals.
- Cross-functional: Working cross-functionally & leveraging appropriate teams when necessary (specifically sales, product, engineering, marketing and support).
- Training: Leading training with large-scale teams and can take a complex tool and educate usage in a digestible manner.
- Expansion and Upsell: Identify and help expand Handshake use cases with new business units or products.
- 5+ years experience managing large, high-touch accounts with multiple points of contact
- Worked with Strategic customers: Fortune 50 - Fortune 200 - Managing $3M+ ARR
- Experience speaking to Senior leaders and decision makers (both virtual and live onsite meetings)
- Ability to work with a variety of different levels of individuals and teams (internally and externally)
- Ability to lead tactical conversations with end users and strategic visionary discussions with executives
- Ability to take tactical workflows and translate them into business value discussions with senior executives
- Ability to influence usage and adoption for users with limited technical experience
- Accountability with customers: Ability to hold customers accountable to metrics and milestones and keep projects moving forward
- Data Driven: Be able to give tangible examples when discussing data, and create compelling stories with data
- Time management, organizational skills, ability to manage complex accounts with several stakeholders
- Be a dynamic communicator who can resonate with audiences
- Familiarity with early talent or Talent acquisition space and its challenges
- Is able to deal with ambiguity, be agile and have a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Takes creative approaches to solving problems
- Has created internal processes in the past to upskill their team
- Can be tactical but also think strategically and big picture
- Motivated by an opportunity to make an impact

Compensation range- $175,000 - $200,000 per year OTE (80/20 split) + Equity
For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all U.S.-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
