The Opportunity
The Sr. Specialist â Long Term Care role is within our Abbott Rapid Diagnostic Infectious Disease business unit is a National role and will cover the US and can expect approximately 70% travel.
The Senior Specialist â Long Term Care will manage national market responsibilities, aiming to meet and exceed sales plans for targeted products by leveraging Abbott Rapid Diagnosticâs value proposition. This role involves analyzing, profiling, and developing strategic relationships with targeted long-term care accounts, partnering with distribution channel partners and internal Abbott divisions to prioritize and qualify customers, and closing new business opportunities to achieve financial goals. The primary responsibility is to drive market share growth of assigned products within top long-term care accounts. The Senior Specialist will act as an expert in the selling process and serve as the Abbott Rapid Diagnostic resource for long-term care strategy, supporting distributors, customers, technical service, sales organizations, marketing, and corporate accounts.
