We are on the hunt for an exceptional Sr. Manager, Solutions Architect – HPC & Generative AI to lead a team of Solutions Architects who will design and deliver next-generation High Performance Computing (HPC) environments, with an emphasis on Slurm, advanced networking, and GPU-based distributed workloads.

This position reports directly to VP of Customer Experience, is global in scope, and will work closely with leaders across Solutions Architecture, Support, Sales, and Product Engineering. Your Role

  • Build and Lead a High-Performing Team
    • Recruit, coach, and develop a top-tier Solutions Architecture team focused on HPC (Slurm), Generative AI, and distributed AI/ML workloads.
    • Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, ensuring each team member achieves their fullest potential.
  • Shape the Technical GTM Strategy
    • Define and execute the technical go-to-market (GTM) vision for HPC and GenAI on CoreWeave’s cutting-edge GPU infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to position our HPC and AI solutions as the market-leading choice for performance, flexibility, and scalability.
    • Serve as an executive sponsor for strategic customers, guiding them from concept to production deployments.
  • Drive Customer-Focused Innovation
    • Partner with strategic clients to understand their complex HPC and AI/ML requirements—especially those leveraging Slurm, InfiniBand, and NCCL—and translate these insights into solutions that drive tangible results.
    • Oversee large-scale architectural designs, proof-of-concept projects, and production rollouts to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
    • Continuously gather feedback from the field to influence future product enhancements, feature development, and roadmap priorities.
  • Collaborate Across the Organization
    • Align capacity management, data center operations, and fleet operations to meet the unique needs of HPC and AI/ML workloads.
    • Work closely with Marketing to showcase CoreWeave’s HPC capabilities and success stories, driving awareness and demand.
    • Coordinate with Support to optimize resolution paths for complex technical challenges, creating a seamless customer experience.
  • Measure and Optimize Results
    • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring timely and measurable outcomes for both CoreWeave and its customers.
    • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively streamlining workflows and processes for maximum efficiency.
    • Maintain a relentless focus on continuous improvement, ensuring best-in-class experiences for customers in high-growth, high-stakes environments.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education
    • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience
    • 8+ years in solutions architecture, HPC/AI engineering, or cloud infrastructure, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record designing, deploying, and optimizing large-scale HPC environments—particularly Slurm—and familiarity with GPU-based computing, InfiniBand, and NCCL.
  • Technical Proficiency
    • Expertise in HPC frameworks, workload managers, performance tuning, and large-scale distributed computing.
    • Familiarity with Kubernetes 
    • Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML workflows, including Generative AI model training, fine-tuning, and deployment at scale.
  • Leadership Style
    • Exceptional ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams, establishing an environment of trust and excellence.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, with a strong capacity to frame complex technical insights for diverse stakeholders, from engineers to executives.
    • Proven success driving consensus in cross-functional settings, balancing multiple priorities in a hyper-growth environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $185,000-$250,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
