The Opportunity...
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Commissions to lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of commission plans and payouts for our Go-To-Market organization. This strategic leader will manage a team and collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders from Sales, Finance, and Operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the business and its long-term objectives with system expertise to create incentive programs that drive high performance and align with company goals.
What You'll Do...
Commission Plan Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of all commission plans across the sales organization, effectively communicating calculations and rationale to stakeholders.
Payout Management: Accurately calculate and validate monthly variable earnings in line with current compensation plans and ensure timely payouts.
System Management: Maintain and update commission tools and reference data, including employee and plan information, to ensure accurate and efficient payouts.
Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with Finance, HR, Operations, and Sales leadership to develop and refine commission plans by providing strategic financial insights and recommendations.
Participant Engagement: Communicate effectively with plan participants, addressing their questions and providing regular training on commission structures.
Who You Are...
Experienced Professional: 7+ years of experience in Sales Compensation, Sales Operations, or Finance.
Technical Expertise: Advanced system skills with experience in cloud-based financial tools such as Salesforce, Xactly, Varicent, Anaplan, or similar platforms.
Data Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
Creative & Critical Thinker: Ability to think creatively, solve problems, and thrive in dynamic, often ambiguous environments.
Self-Starter: Proven ability to work independently, handle increasing responsibility, and take initiative in a fast-paced setting.
Collaborative Communicator: Strong communication and analytical skills, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Industry Knowledge: SaaS or Software industry experience is a plus.
