DIRECTV is a Senior Director of Compliance responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's compliance program, ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role leads the compliance team, develops and implements compliance strategies, and serves as a key advisor to senior management on compliance-related matters.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs and policies across the organization.
- Lead and manage the compliance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee internal audits and investigations related to compliance matters.
- Collaborate with legal, HR, and other departments to ensure alignment of compliance initiatives with business objectives.
- Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and update company policies accordingly.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels of the organization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
- Report regularly to the Board of Directors and senior management on compliance matters and program effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with external counsel and consultants on compliance-related issues.
- Establish and maintain an effective compliance reporting system, including a confidential whistleblower hotline.
- Monitor and analyze key compliance metrics to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage the compliance budget.
- Promote a culture of ethics and compliance throughout the organization.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in law, business, or related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in compliance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful compliance programs.
- Experience with compliance technology and data analytics tools.
- Industry-specific certifications (e.g., CCEP, CAMS) are a plus.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction will be considered for employment in accordance with local ordinances and state law

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Low (N1): $154,850 - $232,180
Mid (N2): $163,000 - $244,400
High (N3): $179,300 - $268,840
Top (N4): $187,450 - $281,060
