Learn more at www.harmonicinc.com. Role Description We are looking for a Solution Manager. You will be responsible for defining the strategic framework, economical drivers, and tactical execution plan across North America Region to achieve profitable growth. You will also be responsible for managing technical engagements with internet service providers exploring use of Harmonic’s fiber to the home portfolio. You will report to Sr. Director, Broadband Solutions LocationRemote – this position is 100% remote for candidates within the United States What you will be doing:
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals, supporting Harmonic’s aggressive revenue and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Work closely with Sales, and Product leaders to ensure that coverage and activity matches the business need.
- Develop strong relationships with key clients, maintain executive level relationship throughout the sales cycle and beyond and identify Services up-sell opportunities.
- Demonstrable experience in a leading pre-sales role, preferably in the Fiber infrastructure delivery market (Core, Router, OLT, and ONU)
- Extensive account management experience in nominated markets
- Extensive experience in selling high value solutions.
- Experience on Hands on system installing, configuring, and troubleshooting of fiber to the home ecosystems including the Core, Router, OLT, and ONU for customer labs, qualification efforts, testing, and new feature development or validations.
- Experience on platforms for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring that need to successfully interoperate with Harmonic cOS for an operator to deploy Harmonic’s fiber to the home solution.
- Understanding of the broader fiber to the home ecosystem, including the value generated, to facilitate commercially informed dialogs on opportunities and features.
- Use of Harmonic’s standardized applications (e.g. SalesForce, JIRA, Confluence) to optimize the execution of the position deliverables.
- BS /BA. MBA desired. A minimum of 10 years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required within the market sectors and accounts targeted.
- Understanding and experience with data networking infrastructures, converged interconnect networks, and the associated technologies: Routing/Switching, L2/L3, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing Protocols (BGP/ISIS/OSPF, etc.), MPLS, LDP, VPN, Multicast, cloud technologies, DHCP, Linux, Network Troubleshooting, PTP and timing protocols
- Deep knowledge of common toolsets for configuration, management, and monitoring of OLT’s including but not limited to CLI, SNMP, NETCONF, RESTCONF, DOCSIS, Telemetry, Kafka
