Job Brief:
The Solutions Engineer II (SE-II) is the go-to problem solver within the PriceSpider Sales team. With a deep understanding of the PriceSpider solution catalog and internal systems, coupled with creative problem-solving skills, the SE-II excels in understanding and addressing unique customer use cases within the PriceSpider product suite. Working closely with Account Executives (AEs) and Account Management (AM) teams, the SE-II ensures successful client demos, onboarding, and ongoing growth within the PriceSpider platform.
Essential Function & Responsibilities:
- Serve as PriceSpider’s Technical Subject Matter Expert, delivering comprehensive overviews of the technical architecture and product capabilities to diverse audiences.
- Participate in sales calls and meetings with complex Enterprise clients, showcasing PriceSpider’s solutions through data-driven insights, engaging presentations, and a top-notch consultative sales approach.
- Demonstrate expertise in all PriceSpider products, with mastery in at least two specific solutions.
- Collaborate with Implementation and Support teams to ensure the delivered solution matches client expectations.
- Conduct requirement-gathering and discovery, navigating discussions about new and innovative use cases for PriceSpider solutions and data.
- Provide client feedback to the Product team throughout the sales, renewal, and growth processes.
- Lead data-transfer and analytics discussions, aligning client needs with PriceSpider’s capabilities, and seek innovative ways to enhance analytics processes for strategic engagements.
- Assist with RFI/RFP inquiries and technical vendor assessments.
- Help create and maintain documentation as technology and processes evolve.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of customer-facing experience with a passion for technical Strategic Sales (preferably SaaS)
- Ability to educate non-technical users on technical concepts and systems.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to drive results across cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills (both in-person and online), and proven self-organization and strategic prioritization abilities.
- Experience managing Enterprise clients pre and post-sale, and navigating complex expansion opportunities.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a flair for storytelling.
- Professional experience in at least one of the following technical fields:
- Website technology (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, CDN, API) and web design concepts.
- Data analysis/visualization tools like Looker, Google Data Studio, PowerBI, or Tableau; relational database experience is a plus.
- Digital shelf management, digital merchandising, or content syndication.
- Website analytics, digital marketing technologies, or SEO.

Location: Remote (US and/or UK - Preference for Eastern Time Zone for US applicants)
Compensation:
The base salary for this role is $95,000 - $115,000, plus variable bonus. Please note that our salary ranges are based on current market data and the offered compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and other factors permitted by law.
