About the role:
Samsaraâs Trailers & Equipment teams focus on delivering solutions for trailer and powered equipment tracking. We help customers understand the utilization of trailers, and the location of expensive assets, and provide them with insight into the health of equipment. We ingest large amounts of data from our hardware in real time and help customers make sense of their overall logistics through real-time visibility, reporting, and alerting.
As a software engineer focusing on full-stack at Samsara, you will design and develop features touching many parts of our system that have a tangible impact on customers. Youâll tackle engineering challenges ranging from database architecture for scale, presenting analytics in an intuitive way for users, and performant ways to display insights on mobile and web.
We use Golang for our backend, Typescript and React for our web client, GraphQL to fetch data from our backend, and React Native for our mobile app. Direct experience with these technologies is not required.
This role is open to candidates residing in Canada.Â
