Job Description
The Senior Technical Partnerships Manager, K12 plays a pivotal role in driving adoption of Craft technology and work-based learning (WBL) initiatives by organizations in the K12 education sector. This role specifically focuses on securing agreements to use Craft’s data utility platform and collaborate on apprenticeship-related initiatives with ecosystem players. Through solution selling, the Manager identifies partner needs, demonstrates platform value, and delivers pilot projects. This position is also responsible for tracking performance to ensure measurable outcomes, product adoption, and long-term success.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partnership Development: Identify and initiate outreach to potential partners by building a pipeline of prospects, conducting qualification, and mapping key stakeholders
- Partnership Execution: Conduct discovery and establish strategic partnerships to use Craft technology and advance WBL initiatives, with organizations including school districts, institutions of higher education (IHEs), Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) sponsors, government agencies, and nonprofits.
- Ecosystem Collaboration: Drive collaboration among ecosystem players to secure buy-in and outcomes
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across education, workforce development, and public agencies, supporting additional partnerships and regional adoption
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on lead generation and funnel conversion, evaluating and providing feedback in partnership with Growth Operations

Knowledge
- Knowledge of K12 education and workforce stakeholders – how they operate, make decisions and approach collaboration.
- Knowledge of teacher training ecosystem – processes, pathways, players
- Knowledge of industry-standard sales practices
Skills
- Conducting discovery conversations
- Communication and negotiation

- Drafting & negotiating proposals
Abilities
- Ability to “solution sell” complex technology products: discover partner needs, wants and constraints; educate prospective partners on the value propositions of the data utility software
- Ability to drive understanding of complex technical concepts to both non-technical and technical audiences
- Ability to address technical questions, including IT integration
- Ability to establish and nurture relationships with K12 education stakeholders.
- Ability to drive multi-stakeholder initiatives
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Education Technology sales or technology-related partnerships in education or workforce; demonstrated history of meeting / exceeding sales quota
- Experience selling to K12, Higher Education and/or Workforce Development organizations
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
Experience in lieu of education
Equivalent relevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for education degree requirements. Generally, equivalent relevant experience is defined as 1 year of experience for 1 year of education and is the discretion of the hiring manager.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with relevant educational technology tools / initiatives:
- Learner / employee management systems, reporting and compliance tools, workflow management software, or workforce planning platforms.
- Experience with “grow your own” K12 teacher pipeline development programs which incorporate on-the-job or work-based learning (e.g. educator preparation programs, para-to-professional)
- Knowledge of USDOL Registered Apprenticeship Programs and familiarity with their structure, requirements and needs including data tracking, compliance, and reporting.
- Advanced Degree or Certifications in Education, Public Policy, or Workforce Development
