Within US Human Health IT, the Business Technology Partner position supports the US Oncology and PAH/Rare Disease Customer Business Lines (CBL) focused on matching the transformative power of technology with the rapid pace of innovation in these franchises. The incumbent will be assigned to key customer-facing Oncology and/or Rare Disease CBL areas, stakeholders and/or initiatives i.e. Launch Planning & Support, Customer Engagement, Field Capabilities, and Operations. The incumbent will be responsible for in-depth understanding of business priorities and business case development in support of assigned areas. The incumbent will partner with business clients, enterprise and divisional IT, Digital Data & Analytics partner teams, external experts, and customers (as appropriate) to drive tech innovation, data driven insights and decision making, and business value realization as a competitive advantage for the CBL.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients across functional areas/marketing & field teams; manage client expectations.

  • Identify optimization opportunities while programs are underway, define new Go-To-Market and Data capabilities that further enhance our ability to make faster decisions and execute on them.

  • Serve as an Operational Lead to manage business requests for support and changes to existing systems and applications.

  • Define business case for and relative priority of proposed IT investments as well as develop metrics, and track progress realization.

  • Identify capabilities required to achieve franchise business strategy aligned with IT roadmaps, platform teams, data science partners and external vendors.
