The OpportunityWe are searching for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own Datadog’s messaging and go-to-market strategy to customers operating in the Public Sector, including both Federal and State/Local segments. This is a highly strategic role, directly reporting to the Sr. Director of Public Sector Marketing and is a critical part in driving Datadog’s next chapter of growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the continued growth of Datadog’s product portfolio of Public Sector offerings, aligning messaging with mission-critical government needs, including FedRAMP, IL5, and other compliance-driven initiatives.
- Create compelling value propositions and content—including datasheets, case studies, blogs, web copy, ebooks, and sales enablement materials—highlighting Datadog’s capabilities in secure, compliant cloud observability for government agencies.
- Work with cross functional teams (like product management, field marketing, and sales) to define, create, and launch impactful go-to-market campaigns across multiple channels, including webinars, ads, organic, thought leadership, and more
- Enable and educate sales, customer success, and channel teams with targeted training, presentations, and collateral that position Datadog as a trusted provider for public sector agencies, system integrators and partners
- Gather market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to refine positioning and improve Datadog’s reach in the public sector.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years in product marketing, solutions marketing, product management, solutions consultant, sales engineer or a related role, ideally within SaaS, cloud, observability, or security.
- Intellectually curious with experience working within technology companies, regulated industries, government system integrators, or IT operations in the public sector.
- Understand modern system architecture, cloud computing, DevOps, and open source technologies
- Exceptional communicator and storyteller with proven experience crafting messaging and content that resonates with government or regulated industry decision-makers.
- Experienced in sales enablement, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into mission-driven value propositions.
- A self-starter with strong cross-functional collaboration skills, able to work across product, sales, marketing, and partner teams to drive results.
Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
