About the Job

The Hybrid Platforms Business Unit is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager ideally based in Raleigh, NC, USA to join the OpenShift product marketing team.Ā 

This individual will engage Red Hat sales, product managers, and corporate marketing teams to develop and execute a marketing strategy targeting existing customers and prospects and drive awareness and adoption of Red Hat OpenShift.

The perfect candidate is a highly collaborative, self-starter, experienced and interested in Kubernetes, and ready to execute on multiple projects and deliverables at the same time. They will understand the Kubernetes market, the competition and customer pain points/problems and will use this information to help build a differentiated go-to-market strategy.Ā 

What You Will Do

  • Enable sales teams with messaging / materials to drive pipeline / revenue

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Technical Marketing Management teams to ensure alignment in GTM activities and priorities

  • Provide extended marketing teams with differentiated content, messaging and training to execute on GTM plans

  • Help customers onboard quickly to fully understand the capabilities of our products and expand their Red Hat footprint

  • Engage customers to best amplify their experiences with Red Hat OpenShift

  • Collaborate with corporate marketing teams to bring strategy and help support execution of demand generation, references, events, digital campaigns, etc.

  • Be accountable for the success of product / feature launches

  • Create messaging and customer-facing materials that drive engagement and help drive pipeline / revenue

  • Lead new product launches and analyst engagement

  • Write/create differentiated messaging and content for both outbound and inbound audiences

What You Will Bring

  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with driving complex projects to completion on time

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to tell compelling stories and write simple and consumable messagingĀ 

  • Ability to synthesize technical information from a variety of stakeholders into a coherent story / message with clearly articulated business value

  • Understanding of different content needs for marketing lead development as well as current practices to produce high value contentĀ 

  • Excellent consensus building / driving marketing influence, critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Experience with Sales Cloud and social media marketing

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for planning meetings, customer engagements, and conferences

Nice to have:

  • Basic understanding of the Kubernetes and containers market landscape

  • Pragmatic Marketing certification

  • Product Marketing Alliance certification

The salary range for this position is $105,860.00 - $169,340.00. Actual offer will be based on your ā€¦
