Senior Manager, Fintech Strategy

Fintech at Toast is centered around payments, lending, employees, and managing the restaurantâs back office. Our Strategy team is the strategic execution arm for the Fintech line of business. This includes defining strategic direction, ensuring seamless operations, and supporting critical initiatives.
As Senior Manager, Fintech Strategy, youâll have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction for Toastâs Fintech offerings, working closely with Go-To-Market, Product, Customer Success, and R&D teams. You will drive critical business initiatives, develop new monetization strategies, and execute operational processes to ensure the continued growth of our Fintech business. You will also play a key role in ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams, spearheading impactful outcomes through strong collaboration and data-driven decision-making.

About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute strategic initiatives for Toastâs Fintech business. These areas include payments, lending, payroll, and back-office solutions.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to optimize pricing, packaging, and customer experience.
- Build business cases for new monetization strategies and lead cross-functional efforts to bring them to life.
- Support product launches, operational changes, and pricing adjustments, partnering with Sales and Customer Success teams.
- Continuously monitor the Fintech landscape to identify emerging trends, uncovering opportunities to enhance Toastâs offerings and maintain competitive advantage.

- Bachelorâs degree and 7+ years of equivalent work experience, preferably in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, operations for high-growth technology, or venture capital
- Demonstrated experience with strategic/operational projects âŚ
