Senior Director, Partner Strategy & Systems

As the Senior Director of Partner Strategy & Systems, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of HubSpot’s Solutions Partner program, a global network of over six thousand partners and providers who drive sales and customer retention for HubSpot. In this role, you'll design and drive long-term strategy initiatives for HubSpot’s Global Partner Organization with heavy cross-functional collaboration.

This is a business-critical role as HubSpot continues to scale and one that will make a continuous impact on our short and long-term strategic goals as an organization. You will report to the VP of the Global Solutions Partner Program and partner closely with the broader partner leadership team.

We are looking for a results-oriented leader with a track record of leading strategic change in a SaaS organization. The right candidate has the expertise, agility, and analytical mindset to drive meaningful change that both accelerates revenue and improves operating margins. 

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Run the Solutions Program long-term strategic planning process (3+ year horizon) with your Strategy team
  • Play a key role in annual planning for sales and customer success, alongside your counterparts in Partner Operations, FP&A and Sales Operations to ensure our annual plan is aligned to our long term growth strategy
  • Leverage your analytical aptitude to effectively understand problems and opportunities, and translate that into solutions. 
  • Dive into opportunity areas, assessing where we can experiment and analyze outcomes to ensure we’re investing in the right solutions.
  • Guide your team in the execution of strategic initiatives by shaping project and program management best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to drive efficiency and scale through automation by overseeing partner program systems and processes which help scale the broader partner organization
  • Own hiring, growth, and development of your team. 


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has 10+ years of professional experience, ideally in the software (SaaS) industry and therefore has a deep understanding of SaaS go-to-market models. Experience specifically in channel strategy & operations preferred. 
  • Has the ability to communicate complex concepts simply and clearly to an executive audience. You’ll have high visibility and exposure to HubSpot’s executive team in this role.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced working environment, can work autonomously and pivot quickly to changing business needs. 
  • Can take an ambiguous problem, make sense of it, and propose a path forward.
