About the team

Strategic Finance sits under COO Finance supporting several critical operational functions for Worldpay, including Product Management, Technology Development, Technology Infrastructure and Corporate Applications, Information Security, Procurement, Facilities & Physical Security and Business Enablement. These business enablement functions are key components for our continued transformation into a standalone enterprise. This role will focus on our Value Creation and M&A plans by supporting big bets we are making as a company through partnership with product and business leads throughout the company in crafting well thought out business cases and thorough due diligence.

About the Role:
The Senior Director, Strategic Finance performs the following activities:

  • Be a strategic partner to product by building thoughtful and thorough business cases for new opportunities including TAM/SAM reviews, competitive insights and ROI analysis
  • Develop and lead value creation planning: partner with business leads across the organization in support of initiatives that will drive incremental growth at Worldpay
  • Performance monitoring and reporting: oversee the preparation and presentation of regular initiative updates to finance leadership and the executive team including creation and circulation of monthly scorecards
  • Support bi-weekly growth operating meeting with ELT including topics, working with initiative owners to develop materials, providing analytical support where required, and understanding information and existing cadences
  • M&A support through financial due diligence of target companies, development of internal models, and communicating via succinct and well thought out presentations
  • Spearhead large opex projects spanning across the organization through building out total cost models and supporting negotiation strategies
  • Drive look-back analyses measuring our ROI compared to business cases and circulate lessons learned across cross-functional teams
  • Partner cross-functionally by embedding into initiative workstreams attending and contributing to key stakeholder meetings
  • Lead team of 1-3 supporting roles from analyst to senior manager level

About you:

  • 12+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, and or Consulting roles supporting strategy, business casing
  • Proven ability to assess initiatives with a strategic lens; thinking through use cases, value proposition, what that means for the business case, and what tangible business benefit it provides in the short and long-term
  • Ability to support multiple business leaders in developing business cases, M&A processes including diligence and integration hand-off, and developing executive level presentations
  • A track record working cross-functionally and is a thoughtful collaborator and great listener, keenly focused on understanding business challenges, building strong relationships, and driving impact

The pay range for this full-time position is $197,700.00 - $332,140.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.  . This position may be eligible for bonus and/or commission.
