Senior Campaign Operations Manager

Remote - US

Who we are

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, Equipment Monitoring, and Site Visibility. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role:

We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Campaign Operations Manager  to join our global Marketing Operations team as part of our global operations delivery hub, supporting North America, Latin America and EMEA Marketing teams. As a key driver of growth and impact, you’ll craft compelling email sequences that resonate with diverse audiences. Your ability to innovate, optimize, and scale will be essential to our success. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging data-driven insights to deliver exceptional results.

This role is critical in driving the success of our marketing campaigns by ensuring seamless execution, data-driven decision-making, and maximizing ROI. We’re looking for a self-starter with a proven track record in email marketing and automation.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won’t be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
  • You’re energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-calibre team that will encourage you to do your best.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement efficient campaign intake, workflows, and processes.
  • Leverage marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Iterable) integrated with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data platforms (e.g., CDPs) to ensure data consistency and effectiveness in campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Marketing and Sales to align campaign goals and strategies.
  • Create, track, and improve on email marketing sequences and lead nurture tracks.
  • Ensure all campaigns (e.g. thought leadership, customer lifecycle, ABM, etc.) are supported by the appropriate amount of marketing automation to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate with your peers globally to ensure content is accurate and aligned with global programs and full quality assurance is applied to all assets and personalization.
  • Analyze key metrics such as conversion rates, click-through rates, and ROI to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Implement A/B testing and other experimentation techniques to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Apply marketing technology and best practices to support global marketing OKRs.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 8+ years hands on email marketing, campaign operations or digital marketing experience, preferably in B2B tech.
  • Successful ownership of campaign execution in Marketo or similar marketing automation tooling (e.g. Eloqua, Hubspot, Pardot) including managing intake process, audience segmentation, program build out, content production, and QA workflows.
  • Experience managing campaigns across multiple regions, ensuring localization and alignment with targets while maintaining globally consistent brand messaging.
  • Thorough understanding of email compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL) and data privacy best practices.
  • Experience evaluating campaign performance metrics and using A/B testing, personalization, and content optimization to improve outcomes.
  • Passionate about leveraging technology to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize initiatives based upon context and expected ROI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and great collaborator with cross-functional teams.

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Marketo certified (expert or above) and Iterable certified (foundations or above).
  • Intermediate to advanced user of Salesforce, Hightouch, Leandata, Zoom, Contentful, ON24, 6sense, and Splash.
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS.
  • Prior experience in Marketing Services or agency capacity.
  • Previous change management experience transitioning operational responsibilities (either outsourcing or insourcing).
