About the role and what you'll be doing: 

The Bid Management team at Ensono is responsible for owning the bid and quote lifecycle, a critical input for pre-sales client pricing. The Sr. Bid Management Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end bidding process for Mainframe, Cloud and Distributed Software and applicable Services.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including the Solution Architect team) to receive and process pre-sales bid requests.
• Utilize Workday Strategic Sourcing to submit and manage quote requests, ensuring timely vendor responses.
• Track and follow up on the status of all quote requests, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
• Manage multiple iterations of bidding, providing timely communication and updates to internal stakeholders.
• Develop robust bid documents (e.g., RFI, RFP, RFQ) by coordinating inputs from various stakeholders.
• Ensure proposals comply with requirements to support sound business decisions.
• Lead reviews with bid participants to clarify requirements, scope, and expectations, enabling precise proposal development.
• Prepare and present reports on bid management results, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Participate in vendor evaluations as needed, in accordance with Ensono’s Vendor Management process.

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of experience in Procurement, Bid Management, or related roles.
• Background in IT or Managed Service Providers
• Expertise in Mainframe and Software categories 
• Strong understanding of Mainframe engagement contracts
