THE ROLE:
Entegris is seeking a new Senior Account Manager to join our sales team in support of the Semiconductor ecosystem, specifically with bulk chemical, slurry, solvent, photoresist, and wafer growth markets.
The new hire in this role will be based in Texas, Minnesota, or the East/Northeast United States. They will support sales objectives and market share and profitability targets at assigned accounts. This will include a strong focus on developing and executing growth strategies to achieve success.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Execute / develop the strategic account plan for various customers to maximize revenue, new product adoptions and key technology engagements,
- Embrace the role of business owner. Develop and execute on growth strategies to achieve success.
- Develops and owns the sales plan that achieves revenue, profitability and forecasting objectives.
- Understand customer’s business and technology road map and drives internal teams to continuously improve product quality, our technical edge, and market competitiveness for attaining or maintaining the number one supplier position.
- Achieve the Annual Operating plan by maintaining accurate forecast, and maximizing revenue, margin and market share through continuous analysis.
- Participate in global APS and MS sales and Business Unit team meetings as well as provide new project sales strategies incorporating cross-functional team efficiencies to drive maximum revenue on complex sales opportunities.
- Drive effective pricing strategy through contract and price negotiation processes. Focus on enlarging and developing market share in accordance with total margin strategy.
- Work closely with global and regional support teams such as Applications Engineering, Product Management, Logistics, Quality, Finance, Customer Service, and Customer Enablement Teams to ensure indirect pre- and after-sale service are effectively provided.
- Ensure channel alignment of all sales activities for accounts that are co-managed by Direct and Indirect sales channels.
- Serve as Entegris primary point of escalation in addressing and resolving matters that have been elevated as a critical.
- Demonstrate leadership presence that can resolve escalated matters in a manner that keeps Entegris in good standing, ensuring key stakeholders (BU, Region, Corporate) visibility to issues.
- Establish customer intimacy to ensure Entegris is supporting customer’s long-term business strategy. Collaborate with customer to identify their initiatives, specify problems, define needs, and recommend solutions.
- Develop and maintain senior level industry contacts and relationships to provide opportunities for new business.
- Work closely with Customer Enablement, Finance, Logistics, BU and Quality to eliminate non-value add cost to improve competitiveness.
- When warranted, develop a supplier rating management process with cross functional teams; orchestrate internal action plans based on customer feedback and continuous improvement activities to achieve customer’s satisfaction.
- Maintain high level knowledge of all applicable Entegris products and applications
WHAT WE SEEK:
- A Bachelor’s degree, ideally within a technical field; addition of an MBA or business degree highly preferred
- Broad Semiconductor process knowledge and the ability to use that knowledge to uncover strategic opportunities at various customers in North America
- Prior work experience at a semiconductor device manufacturer, process tool OEM, or critical materials supplier preferred
- Experience in price negotiation and competition analysis
- P&L knowledge as it applies to key account global management (i.e. Team cost as a % of revenue, samples, training, key account overall margin)
- Demonstrated success in collaborating within virtual/remote teams
- Proven success in a sales, marketing and/or field applications role, including strategic application wins that were driven through thorough understanding of the inflections driving semiconductor device transitions and the impact to process equipment
- Thorough market knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and services sector
- Strong CRM capabilities, experience with Salesforce a plus
- Ability to travel as needed to customers in NA – Estimated 25%

- Compensation: $116,500.00 - $145,500.00 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
