Senior Account Executive, Pharmacy National Accounts

Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for the growth of Provista’s Non-Acute Care Services program with primary focus on new membership recruitment and overall business development.  You will also focus on increasing contract utilization among new and existing members through conversion to Provista and Vizient’s contract portfolio. You will work closely with contracted supply partners to lower member's supply cost, improve their operational efficiency, and increase their overall satisfaction with program.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new membership recruitment within non acute market.
  • Develop and implement Non-Acute sales initiatives within defined territory.
  • Promote and assist participants with the implementation of Provista’s non-Acute Programs.
  • Manage relationships with Non-Acute suppliers, distributors, and channel partners within defined geographic territory.
  • Retain existing accounts by maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Conduct periodic business reviews and attend strategic planning meetings with key suppliers to promote Provista’s Non-Acute product and services program.
  • Collaborate with supply partners to conduct joint sales calls to identify potential cost saving opportunities.
  • Assess member needs for products and services, conduct market assessments and market research.
  • Manage sales territory to achieve individual and team sales and revenue goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with all levels of customers organization from the purchasing department to C-Suite level leaders.
  • Maintain all sales activity within Salesforce.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years’ relevant experience required.
  • Experience managing large enterprise accounts; preferably in a healthcare group purchasing setting required.
  • Past job experience in pharmacy distribution, specialty pharmacy, and infusion preferred.
  • Strong analytical, customer service, presentation, and consultative selling skills required. 
  • Knowledge of Group Purchasing/supply chain, non-acute pharmacy market, and working effectively with C-suites desired.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $146,700.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
