Job Description
We're looking for a passionate, and motivated Account Executive (AEx) to join the OTTO by Rockwell Automation sales organization. We prepare and position ourselves to be well-rounded experts in our field, with proven skills across all account functions: strategic account planning, business development, direct technical sales, and account administration. This is a remote position, with 30% - 50% travel required – You will receive support from the team regardless of location. You will report to Director, Consumer & General Industry Sales.
Your Responsibilities:
- Pursue target accounts in your territory, infiltrate those accounts at the highest decision-making level, and secure that business.
- Devise account strategies that leverage OTTO solutions and go-to-market strategy to expand OTTO within target accounts
- Develop business relationships across the organization elevating OTTO's position within the executive ranks.
- Work with clients to identify materials handling automation opportunities in their facilities, promote and demonstrate the OTTO solution and engage the customers in projects with compelling business cases.
- Be responsible for pipeline growth and revenue growth in your territory.
- Devise your personal strategy to systematically conquer your slice of the globe and we will do everything we can to support you along the way!
- The AEx reports directly to the Director of Sales. You will be paid a base salary plus commissions and benefits
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience
- Must be able and willing to travel up to 30%-50% of the time to support on-site customer visits, workshops, and tradeshows.
- Legal authorization to work in the US or Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
