We currently have a career opportunity for a Salesforce Industry Director of Healthcare & Life Sciences. This is a remote position, and candidates can live anywhere in the US. There may be up to 25% travel annually.
Perficient is seeking an experienced and passionate Industry Director for Healthcare for our Salesforce Practice. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and thought leadership within this key market. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, delivery, and strategy to build strong client relationships, identify new opportunities, and position Perficient as the preferred partner for healthcare organizations seeking to leverage Salesforce and other digital solutions.
As a Director at Perficient, you will play a crucial role on the leadership team of our Salesforce consultancy practice. This will involve driving results and financial performance. Additionally, you will foster an engaging colleague culture that inspires strong team and individual performance, in line with Perficient's People Promise.
- Strategy & Vision
- Collaborate with the Strategy & Architecture team to ensure alignment with Perficient’s overarching strategy.
- Develop assets aligned to Perficient’s global strategic objectives.
- Provide strategic thought leadership for our practice, clients, and Salesforce.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Sales & Growth
- Identify and prioritize key target accounts in the healthcare industry to drive Salesforce opportunities.
- Engage in all aspects of sales, from identifying opportunities to crafting tailored solutions and creating compelling proposals.
- Develop Jumpstarts, Accelerators, and dynamic sales demos to showcase Perficient’s capabilities.
- Create and maintain sales playbooks and collateral to support the sales team’s efforts.
- Collaborate closely with sales leaders and lead development representatives to refine messaging and positioning.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales teams on GTM best practices and industry-specific challenges.
- Client & Partner Engagement
- Foster strategic relationships with key client stakeholders including CXO, VP, and Director levels.
- Understand client needs, identify growth opportunities, and drive value and business outcomes.
- Build and strengthen relationships with channel partners, including AVPs and RVPs.
- Represent Perficient and our practice to Salesforce, articulating our value proposition and co-selling sales plays.
- Build and foster authentic relationships within Salesforce and the broader ecosystem.
- Marketing & Thought Leadership
- Provide content for marketing materials that align with Perficient’s marketing processes and guidelines.
- Develop thought leadership materials that align with the marketing calendar and business priorities.
- Identify and prioritize participation in key industry events, including on-site participation.
- Author white papers and strategic position documents to showcase expertise and insights.
- Plan and deliver webinars to promote solutions and thought leadership.
- Curate compelling customer success stories that highlight Perficient’s solutions and impact in the industry.
- Delivery & Team Leadership
- Oversee the successful delivery of all industry-specific projects, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Ensure projects meet high-quality standards and drive customer satisfaction.
- Manage the CSAT process for the health care industry, holding teams accountable for achieving and maintaining strong client feedback scores.
- Develop, mentor, and collaborate with our broader team of leaders and consultants.
- Champion collaboration, celebrate individual achievements, and manage the technical and business aspects of consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in the health care industry, with a focus on digital transformation and Salesforce solutions.
- Proven track record of developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and other digital solutions relevant to the health care industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.
- Ability to travel as needed to support client engagements and industry events.
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $103,584 to $209,800. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
