WORK TYPE: Full-time Hybrid - at least 2-3 days per week in the territory.
LOCATION DETAILS: St. Albans, VT
- This job operates in a hybrid environment between a home office, school, community, and event environments (home office and field-based position).
- Territory sales - must currently reside in/near the location full-time to manage local client relationships and maximize sales opportunities.
WORK HOURS: Hours may vary based on the team and customer's needs. Evenings and weekends may be required.
PAY DETAILS: The base salary range for this job is $90,000-$110,000 annually plus the possibility of additional performance-based incentives.
The base draw will vary based on criteria such as education, experience and qualifications of the applicant, location, internal equity, and alignment with the market.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Travel in the field with Sales Pros to help develop new accounts and increase sales in current accounts - expected to be ten (10) or more business days a month as well as time participating in regional Coaches Clinics/Shows, conferences, and territory events.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
BSN Sports is looking for an Sales Manager to join our team and lead/support the front line in one of the most dynamic industries in the world: sports. An Sales Manager is responsible for optimizing sales, gross profit, and maximizing market share in the assigned territory.
A Sales Manager will represent Varsity Brands by demonstration of company core values in driving the highest ethical standards of conduct in all business activities.

- Sales Management & Training: Coach/train Sales Pros on product knowledge, professional sales techniques, company culture and procedures; motivate Sales Pros to exceed goals and develop professional sales habits; resolve problems on a timely basis; and ensure Sales Pros adhere to company policy.
- Business Development: Travel in the field with Sales Pros to help develop new accounts and increase sales in current accounts - expected to be ten (10) or more business days a month.
- Recruiting: Develop a pipeline of future Sales Pros; interview and recruit the best talent to join the BSN SPORTS team.
- Sales: Ensure sales pros in assigned territory meet or exceed sales and margin goals.
- Territory & Company Development: Evaluate account performance reviews to budget and forecast sales of products. Assist Regional Sales Director and Sales VP in planning and presentations for sales meetings, participate in regional trade shows, lead weekly regional sales huddles and team / individual training sessions.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university preferred
- 2+ years prior sales team management experience (5-10 direct supports).
- 3+ years prior B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success.

- Experience training new employees.
