Sales, Account Manager- General Imaging Ultrasound (San Francisco Bay Area)

The Account Manager- General Imaging will support a territory including greater San Francisco Bay Area. They will work with the Region Sales manager to develop overall territory sales plan accurately forecasting possible deals for the year and ensuring order volume and revenue targets are met. The AM will interface with Clinical Specialist, and Service counterparts to help ensure high customer satisfaction including appropriate involvement with equipment turnover.

Your role:

  • Creating solutions meeting customer requirements involving the entire Philips team
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with the customer at all levels in the buying organization and the Philips team.
  • Understanding customer requirements and providing solutions in a consultative way while meeting their needs including once an order is closed- continuing communication with the customer to ensure high customer satisfaction while addressing any concerns.
  • Developing and owning strategies for customers within assigned territory that will achieve business growth targets.
  • Ensuring order processing, architectural service, construction, and shipment schedules to equipment installation are orderly and timely by communicating with logistics and project managers.
  • Negotiating solutions and closing deals by reaching agreements with mutual satisfaction to Customers and Philips.
  • Maintaining constant communication with all internal and external parties during the progression of the deal. Prepares for several negotiation scenarios. Obtaining clean orders at the best possible price.

You're the right fit if:

  • BS/BA degree in disciplines related to sales, marketing, business or clinical.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hospital sales experience (required).
  • Medical Capital equipment sales experience (highly preferred).
  • Radiology, Ultrasound and/or Diagnostic Imaging sales experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage assigned territory with effective account management strategies.
  • Overnight travel could exceed 40%
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.

Philips Transparency Details

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $188,250 to $239,000 annually, plus company fleet/car.  Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance. 

Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to assigned territory.
